Why we love Tuputupu

To celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and Mental Health Awareness Week in 2020 we created a Tuputupu workbook. It takes you through all you need to grow your very own kūmara.

Te wāhanga tuatahi - Part 1 - Learning all about kūmara and te reo Māori

Te wāhanga tuarua - Part 2 - Learning all about kūmara and Te Whare Tapa Whā

Te wāhanga tuatoru - Part 3- Whānau holiday fun

Te wahanga tuatahi - Part 4 - Taking tamariki through hauhake

VIDEO 1: Start growing your own Kūmara!

One of the final activities in our journey with Kiri, is to grow our own kūmara.

But we'll need to start growing our tipu (shoots) now, to be ready to plant at the end of October.

Check out how to grow you tipu first in the video below and we'll keep you updated along the way.
